About the talk
How can people travel around the Ullswater Valley more easily while reducing congestion, pollution and pressure on local communities?
This Understanding Ullswater talk looks at the changing ways people have travelled around the valley and considers what the past might teach us about the future. Michael will explore the challenges facing residents and visitors today, alongside the work being done to develop a more joined-up and sustainable approach to transport.
The talk also offers an introduction to SITU and its work to encourage practical alternatives to travelling around Ullswater by car.
